The following essays were assignments for an Expository Writing course. For three months, I volunteered at the Heart of Texas Therapeutic Riding Center (HoTTRC), and during my time there, wrote these essays. The first, an analysis essay, examines the conditions individuals of the program may struggle with and how effective horseback riding is as a means of therapy. The second, an argumentative essay, promotes the practice of this therapy for those who struggle with physical, mental, or emotional handicaps.
